“We come out here at the beginning of the school day, and we have a lot of different activities to sign up for, like tractor driving contests, mechanics contests, livestock judging, egg toss, and tug- of-war,” vice president Elizabeth Taylor said.

If one doesn’t want to participate in such activities as those, it is not all there is to do.

“If you don’t do any of those then you can just come out, walk around, ride some rides, and have a fun free day,” said Taylor.

Most of the FFA students who are not participating in activities, are busy looking for some future activities that they can do.

“It is pretty fun, being in FFA, you get to do a lot of things. I’m looking forward to CDE’s, and things like that, but fair day is always a good day to start the year,” said sophomore Brandon Martin.

Many have different reason as to why they absolutely enjoy fair day.

“You get to go around and meet new people, and do things you don’t usually get to do,” Martin said.

With all of these different activities, one of the most difficult, is showing an animal.

The people out there are not only out there for one, but for three days.

“You’ve got to make sure the judge see’s your animal, you have to make your animal look its best, out of all the other animals out there in the ring,” said junior advisor Austin Shourd.

The FFA will show their animals again next year, be sure to come out and see them.
