These are the feelings parents and family of two-year-old Malik Drummond are experiencing. Officials and family members have been searching for the toddler for two weeks. Malik’s parents say their son, who is autistic, wandered off on November 23rd and hasn’t been seen since. Now, Malik’s story is receiving attention from all over the nation.

“I’ve been very heartsick over Malik, I guess I’m mourning. I know I didn’t know him but that little boy has a piece of my heart,”  posted on Tumblr by @Simply Nicole.

While hoping for the best, many are starting to get angry and anxious but refuse to stop searching for Malik.

“It’s frustrating, it’s discouraging, but at the same time, there’s nothing saying that Malik is not still around. We’ve gone over everything, so many times, now we’re left asking where could he possibly be,” said officer Hernandez when talking to The Baxter Bulletin.

Although it’s been two weeks since the two-year-old has been seen, there’s no doubt that Malik is still on the minds of people across the nation.

If you see Malik, or if you know where he is, you’re asked to contact Searcy Police at 501-268-3531.
