Students donate in Key Club blood drive

The Key Club recently hosted its anual blood drive.

They received 48 units of blood from the students.

For some students is was their first year donating.

“This is my first year giving blood so I’m really sure of the process. So so for I’m just deciding,”Bethany Runyan said.

A large number of students came to donate their blood.

“It’s kind of a family thing we like to and we like to help,” Runyan also said.

Jarrod Creameans said he decided to give blood because he thought it might help someone who was in need.

“I gave blood because  I really thought that somebody might want to use my blood more than I could use my blood,” Creameans said.

Some students were anxious about giving blood.

“I’m very nervous actually” Runyan said.

All in all the blood drive was a great success and there will be another one during the spring.
