New Years’ resolutions make for annual event

The New Year is finally here; we are officially in 2012! All over the school New Year resolutions are at least trying to be fulfilled. From not eating so much junk food, going to bed earlier, and doing better in school to being a better friend and paying more attention to others.

The term New Year resolutions mean different things to many different people. To some it means a clean slate and then to some it means just too change one or more things about yourself.

“New Year’s resolutions means a fresh start for me and a chance to make positive changes in my life,” Spanish teacher Wendy Cunningham said.

To some people it’s just something to help them look forward to the new year that is coming.

“My resolutions are just something to bolt forward to every year,” Courtney Palsa said.

Some people have more than one resolution.

“This year I’m going to work harder in school and I’m also going to  work out to practice for next year and try new stuff,” Mathew Swan said,

Other people just want to change one thing in their life.

“I really just want to do better in school,” Olivia Burgess said.

Larry Dicus said, “I want to start doing my homework.”

Over all many people resolutions are all over the school and many of them are on their way to being fulfilled.
