Searcy (LP)  Today I’m writing a review on The Last of Us Remastered Addition. The Last of Us is set in a post apocalyptic upper United States. The main character Joel and his friend Ellie are constantly tested  against zombies and violent groups of humans. Joel is a hardened man who just wants to survive. He is bitter after losing his daughter in the beginning stages of the outbreak. Ellie is a courageous little girl with a heart of gold. She drastically changes Joel’s heart throughout the game and becomes like a daughter to him. One might think that The Last of Us is just another zombie game, but the zombies and the environment of the game make it a whole new category: survival. Players must overcome all kinds of different obstacles in the game, including sneaking, climbing, fighting, and crafting. The player gets more involved with the characters and their emotions after each challenge. The game is addicting and hard to put down. Each mission ends in a sharp cliff hanger that leaves no true stopping points. All of my friends play the game. Michael Elston gives the game a 4/5 and James Hart says it changed his life. If you haven’t yet, you should definitely get The Last of Us.
