Love is..

SEARCY (LP) We’ve officially entered the season of love! Valentines day being just around the corner means its time to grab the ones you love and show them how much you appreciate them! I’ve asked my fellow classmates and teachers a couple of questions on how they go out of their way to express their love this season.

First I interviewed, Officer Davis and asked him what love means to him, Davis stated ” Love is giving a limb for them”. In other words you love them so much you would be willing to give up a finger or arm.

Next I interviewed a student to hear their perspective on love. Anissa Williams says love to her is, ” When you care for someone very deeply and you have a strong feeling for them.” Loving at a young age is very risky and most young people don’t quite understand what love really is. Loving at a young age, you tend to show it differently than older people. Anissa says she shows love by, “being there when needed most and always backing them up.” Younger people don’t tend to show love through affection as older people. I then asked Officer Davis how he shows love and he says, ” He’s more of a giver”. He loves giving gifts and would rather receive a home-made gifts than a store-bought gifts.

All of the talk about love suggest that they would be showing love on valentine’s day, student, Anissa Williams says she will be spending valentines day working or occupying her time to keep her mind off of being single this holiday. Officer vcligyognfpb7shjecq5Davis says he will spend his valentines with his wife having dinner and enjoying a movie, after finding a babysitter for his six kids!

Remember this holiday to focus more on the ones you love instead of the stereotypical boyfriend/girlfriend holiday. Cherish your loved ones!
