Fine Dining Across the World!

Searcy (LP)Food is one of the things that brings people around the world together and if it’s not home cooking, it’s fine dining! Around Arkansas we have food chains that are also across the world, but have you ever wondered what other places around the world have?

James Hill thinks that “Fuji’s is one of the more popular restaurants around town and the best thing they do is entertain you with a grill and fire. I’ve always wanted to go around the world and taste different foods.”

From dining in the dark to being served by robots, unique dining experiences are everywhere, you just have to explore them! Some of the common restaurants around here are Chili’s and Steak restaurants. Sara Minton’s favorite restaurant is Chick-fli-A , and “if there is good service and good food, people will keep coming back!”

It is traditional in the way that you get seated by people and served food in about twenty minutes, but  Sara Minton also believes that “it can be boring sometimes just going in and sitting down. Something new and interesting would be awesome!”

What if you tried something new? What if you had to eat in complete darkness? There is a restaurant in Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco called Opaque where you eat in complete darkness! It sounds really strange, but at Opaque, the customers are led by visually impaired or blind employees! Your eyes never adjust to the dark, and the waiter has to tell you what’s on the menu. The good thing is that your senses increase and you have an overall better experience!

Another incredible experience is at the Hajime restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand! As I mentioned earlier, normally you get served by waiters/waitresses, but at the Hajime restaurant you get served by robots! They bring out your food with a smile on their faces and they even dance when they want to! Eventually I believe that robots will run the technology world, so Hajime is a good start for something new! It is entertaining to see robots engage with the customers and you can take orders on their computer screens!

Even though there are many other fantastic restaurants, the last one on the list is simply called Dinner in the Sky. For the low-cost of $40,000 dollars you and twenty-one of your friends can eat dinner in the sky. You dangle 150ft above the ground and you can even be sitting above a golf course! All around, it is a different experience eating around the world than eating in Arkansas! If you want something different, James Hill suggests to “go to a place that has live entertainment and comedians!”  If you take a vacation or venture away from Arkansas, try some of these unique restaurants for your eating pleasure!
