Searcy (LP) When thinking about school lunches, many people think negative about them. Justin Osborn believes that “it would be a good idea if we took out some things like the rice and steak fingers.” But at Searcy High School, we have a few items that taste pretty decent. Starting from the bottom and moving to the top, most of our pizza products taste exquisite.

They range from alfredo chicken pizza to pizza from Dominoes. This creates a unique variety to choose from! Another fantastic food item is chicken nachos. It gives off an authentic Taco Bell kind of feel, and the nachos taste home-made. Number two on the list is crispitos. I personally don’t like crispitos, but many people at this school think they taste amazing! With cheese on the top, it is wrapped in a shell with chicken and cheese! I’m sure you can put whatever else you want into them, but why change what isn’t broken! Even though all of these items taste great, the number one favorite item picked was a chicken strip sandwich. Alex Suarez believes that “the chicken strip sandwich is different from everything else. I just love the taste of it and there is a lot of it!” This is my personal favorite also, and it taste like a fast food sandwich!

We also need to consider introducing new foods with more options. Justin Osborn believes that “we need more sandwiches, such as a steak and cheese combo or a honey BBQ sandwich. Different deserts would be nice also. Chocolate cake every now and then would be the bomb!” With just a simple meal, your heart can be filled with joy and your belly can be full too. Overall, if you’re considering bringing your lunch, be sure to check our school lunch menu for some of these favorites!
