Reliving your childhood

Unknown-1Searcy (LP) If you own a TV or have any social media, you probably have seen the recent movie previews. One thing they all seem to have in common they are more than likely the continuation of a movie from our childhood. We always wondered why they did not make a sequel to movies like “Finding Nemo” and “The Incredibles,” but now Disney is finally answering our questions. After almost ten years, we are getting to relive our childhood and find out what happened to Nemo and his dad and the superhero family. Even though it has been ten years and some of the old audience is now adults, I feel the these movies we draw in the same crowd as it did for the first movies.

“Finding Dory” is going to be the sequel to “Finding Nemo” where they have to find now the forgetful fish featured in the first movie. As we all know from the first movie, Dory does not remember anything from her past including where she is from. In this star-packed movie, Dory will embark on the adventure of a lifetime to locate her mother and father with the help from some old friends, Nemo and Marlin. To find out if she will ever be reunited with her family, check out theaters June 17 of this year.

“The Incredibles” captured us all as kids with their super powers and family love. With the cliffhanger that the first movie left us on, Disney left us wondering what happened to our favorite family. All we know now is that there will be a movie, and that it will be released Unknownsometime at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.

Seniors are so excited to relive their childhood at the same time that they are becoming adults.

“I remember watching Disney movies as a kid and loving them,” said senior Tori Walker. “I definitely will want to watch these new movies.”

To some, it still lets them be a kid.

“Even though I am graduating, I feel like a kid all excited to watch them,” said senior Sierra Marsh.

All in all, everyone is buzzing about these new movies, and one thing for sure the theaters will be packed for the premiers.
