Searcy(LP) The presidential race is a huge topic right now and now more than ever because one big reason, Donald Trump. Donald Trump has made the presidential race so entertaining that high schoolers are getting into politics, and many more people are voting now because of how entertaining the race is.

So I ask some students from Searcy High School on what they think about Donald Trump and Asael Bocanegra said “ I feel that Donald Trump is a joke and that he won’t be able to run the country because he’s gonna try to run the country like it was a business.”

I also Interview Keaton Douglas and ask what he thinks about the Donald and he said “ I feel that Trump is the only runner that has been telling the truth and hasn’t been giving false claims.”

So with that I was wondering what are some of the things that Donald Trump has said, and well I found out he has said a lot of things like there should be surveillance on US mosques. Because Trump believes Muslims should be tracked by law enforcement as a counterterrorism initiative. Also he said that he wants to build a “great, great wall” between the US and Mexico.

In some of his earliest campaign comments, Trump suggested that Mexicans coming to the US are largely criminals. “They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and they’re rapists,” he said. A wall on the border, he claims, will not only keep out undocumented immigrants but Syrian migrants as well.

I ask Keaton Douglas again and told him if these things that Donald Trump has said are true and if he be able to follow thru and he said “ I thinks that it might be a long shot but it’s for him get it pass thru congress but it’s possible.”

Donald trump might win or might not but one thing for sure his making this year race a one to remember.
