Senior Last Day

IMG_4402-2  SEARCY (LP) On April 22 seniors at Searcy High School experience their last day of high school. All feelings different emotions. Some sad and others ready to get out of here already. Knowing that it’s time to adventure of into a new lifestyle. No waking up at 6:00 am, not coming to register for school, no more gross school lunches. Saying goodbye was the hardest part for some seniors and some goodbyes were easy.

Senior Brooke Bailey has been going to Searcy for 5 years. Today was her last day. Her day was filled with
excitement and sadness.

Bailey “I won’t miss the school but I will miss the people.” Brooke knows that she will miss her classmates and her daily schedule she participated in on daily. Not only will she miss her classmates but she will miss choir and the extra activities she was involved in. Brooke says, “I will miss getting on the bus and going places I thought I would never go and sing and represent Searcy District with pride.” Brooke hopes to move on to bigger things and soon return to Searcy and help out with her hometown community. IMG_4403

Senior Ker’Randis Davis, “I will miss High School but its time to leave the nest and spread my wings.” Davis knows he will miss High school but a new life has begun and he is determined to put in work for a great future. Ker’Randis will miss his friends and his routine for school everyday. Ker’Randis mentions being a new student this year was a little more stressful. Having to make new friends, registering, finding the right classes and adapting to new rules. Ker’randis hopes to pursue a great future and looks forward to moving away and starting his own family.

Miles and miles apart but always lions at heart.
