Spring Park is hosting a skating rink for the first time  during Christmas time. It cost five dollar per person. On Sunday it opens 1:00 to 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday 5:00 to 10:00pm, Friday 5:00 to 11:00pm, and Saturday 1:00 to 11:00pm. It will be closed on December 23 through the 26 and January 1st through the 2nd. This skating rink is for family fun. “ I would recommend it for a fun, cheap family outing of a date night.” says Angela English. There can only  be 10 to 12 people allowed on the skating part. “ I thought the ice rink was a great additions to the Holiday of Lights. Any activities that can be offered free of inexpensively for families to enjoy together are awesome!” Before her and her family they walked up and were given free hot chocolate from Harding University students. “Then we paid, the rink was full, so we had to wait 45 minutes for our designated skate time, but we just looked at the designated skate time, but we just looked at the lights while we waited. When it was our time we just receive skates and took off skating.” To her this skating rink has a number ten rating. “It is obviously lake ice, but it is still fun. they made it a very holiday feel, so they did a great job with that.” The skating rink is great way to celbrated Christmas and to get in the Christmas feeling.

If you have not went you should go. It is a cheap and fun way to spend time with your family, friends, or either your boyfriend or girlfriend. “I hope the wonderful sponsors will continue to add activities that bring the community and families together as the Holiday of Lights continues to grow in Searcy and White County.”
