CONGRATULATIONS to the following SHS Band members for being named to the Region IV All-Region Bands last

Saturday.  They will participate in a clinic on this coming Friday and Saturday, and will perform a concert in the SHS PAC

on Saturday, January 21 starting at 2pm.  Great job!

SENIORS who plan on attending A STATE Jonesboro can stop by the Guidance Center for information regarding

their Privately Funded Scholarships.  Deadline to apply is February 1.

ASU-JONESBORO has now opened the link to the Privately-Funded Scholarship application at A-State.  All students are

eligible to apply for these scholarships each year. The scholarships are awarded by alumni and donors of the university.  Each

scholarship has different requirements, which are determined by the person(s) who donated the funds. Scholarships are for

full-time students and require evidence of scholastic achievement and/or outstanding ability in the area of the award.

Scholarships vary in amounts and duration of the award.  Interested students can pick up more information in the Guidance

Center.

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:

STUDENT COUNCIL will meet this Thursday, Jan 19th, at 7:35 AM in Mrs. Jones's room 320.

BETA CLUB: will meet Wednesday, January 18th, at 7:45am in the cafeteria.
