ASU RECIEPTS: Any student taking an off campus concurrent enrollment class must provide the Guidance Center a copy

of their paid receipt or their account balance by MONDAY, January 30.  Otherwise, they will be placed in a full schedule at

Searcy High School.

SEARCY HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS who are planning to attend the University of Arkansas are encouraged to apply for a

scholarship through the Walton College which is provided through the generosity of private donors. The deadline to submit

this online application isFebruary 15, 2017. Students who are interested may apply by clicking on the following link and

clicking on Apply Now under Scholarships for Incoming Freshman and Transfer Students to the Walton College.

SENIORS who plan on attending A STATE Jonesboro can stop by the Guidance Center for information regarding

their Privately Funded Scholarships.  Deadline to apply is February 1.

SCHOLARSHIP: The White County Master Gardeners are offering a scholarship for 500.00.  Any interested senior can

pick up an application in the Guidance Center.

SENIORS…If you or your family is a member of White County Farm Bureau, please stop by the Guidance Center for a

Scholarship Application.

THE ARKANSAS BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS are now being accepted by the Department of

Media at ASU-Jonesboro. The scholarship is for high school seniors who plan to major in broadcasting at A-State. The

application is available in the Guidance Center.

FUTURE ASU-JONESBORO STUDENTS…If you are a senior majoring in journalism or have expressed an interest in

broadcasting as a career, an application form is online under College of Liberal Arts & Communication, Media Department.
