Trendy coffee place continues to create famous drinks

Searcy (LP) Starbucks, the Seattle-based coffee chain, is a very popular place to hang out and buy tasty drinks. Tea, smoothies, and many different types of coffee are sold there. The latest trendy drink is the Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino. It is made up of dark cocoa, mint, and the Frappuccino roast coffee, with blended milk and ice. Skylar Davis, barista at the Starbucks in Searcy, says “It’s a Frappuccino base; add a scoop of ice, more of the base, it helps the milk and ice combine, then a dark chocolate powder, then mint mocha. We blend all of that together and pour half of the drink, put a layer of whipped cream, the rest of the drink, and top it off with more whipped cream and chocolate powder. About twenty to fifty people buy it a day.”

While this drink is not as well-known as the Unicorn Frappuccino, it is ordered more often each day. It will last until summer or until supplies last. Rachel Treadwell, has worked for seven months at the Starbucks in Little Rock and enjoys her job a lot. “I just moved here from Seattle back in September and the culture is so different that Starbucks is the only thing I know. Up there we have one on every corner,so it was a familiar place to start,” she states. Working at this coffee place is a good way to connect with people and learn about the trending drinks, such as the Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino.
