Arkansas high schools participate in the SHS basketball Searcy Bank Classic

Searcy,Ark.,(LP) — Searcy High’s Lady Lions and Lions worked hard to be the champions during the SHS basketball Searcy Bank Classic, which is the biggest tournament for the basketball players in Arkansas. The Lady Lions and Lions competed against four teams during the Searcy Bank Classic, of which were: Batesville High School, Little Rock Hall High School, Valley View High School, and Catholic High School. It lasted three days, which took place on November 30th, and December first and second.

To prepare for the game the SHS Basketball teams work harder and harder by practicing multiple times a week. They are motivated by the student section to practice so they can win at the games and tournament. According to Sydney Hicks, senior at SHS, “Our student section was great! We’re working harder and harder each game.”
