FFA’S LIDS FOR KIDS SERVICE PROJECT :Searcy FFA Chapter will be celebrating National FFA week next week, February 19 – 23, 2018.  Each year the chapter selects a service project to benefit a local organization.  This year SHS FFA worked with Mr. Hodges to planned a fundraiser called “Lids for Kids.”  The proceeds for the Lids for Kids fundraiser will benefit the SHS Food Pantry.

SHS students who choose to participate will make a donation in order to receive the privilege to wear their cap during school hours.  Mr. Hodges requested that we provide students who donated with a sticker to be worn on their cap, to signify that they are supporting the Lids of Kids fundraiser.  These stickers will be sold outside of the cafeteria during lunch from February 15 thru February 23.  The stickers cost $1 per sticker and should be worn visibly on the cap with the specified color for that day.

  • Friday – Green.

If a student is wearing the incorrect color for that day, they should remove the cap.

Mr. Hodges said, if you, as a teacher, find wearing of a cap in your class offensive, you may ask any student to remove their cap in your class.

Searcy FFA appreciates your support and cooperation as we work to execute this service project.
