As the season comes to a close, the volleyball team participated in their final game. The team used this game to support an important cause.
“Tonight is very special because we are supporting breast cancer, and every sport has a pink-out game,” said Jessica Coker, Sophomore.
The team has made many improvements in this past season.
“We did O.K.; we had off games, but as a team we did really good,” said Aspen Tedder, Freshman. “We had five returners and all the rest were new, and then a new coach. I guess we did pretty good for the most part.”
No matter how much progress the team has made, there is always room for improvement.
“Working together getting passes up to the right places, and communicating,” Tedder said.
With all the changes this year, the players have high hopes hopes for the next season.
“I expect us to win, because we have all the experience and we will be able to communicate better, because we’ll be closer to each other ,” said Tabitha Westbrook, Freshman.
