Wreck-It Ralph, a film centered around a large variety of old video games, climbed its way up the box office roster, pleasantly surprising viewers and critics alike.
Disney’s Rich Moore was the creator, director and father of the 3D movie masterpiece that soon became the envy of several other film agencies around the world.
His idea was both brilliant and fresh, drawing from a very large fan base and earning the respect of many experts.
I agree with Bryan Erdie from CBS TV to deem it “the most original film in years!”
The movie ended up combining such a large multitude of games new and old that almost any person could recognize some of the characters and that a few even caused nostalgia.
My dad even went to see it with me.”Some of the characters in the movie brought me back to some of the best parts of childhood where games with friends were the only real things to do when it got dark,” .
The film centers upon an old arcade villain named Ralph, who is tired of being overshadowed and unappreciated and sets out to find himself, become appreciated and for once in his life, to be the hero.
On his elongated journey, he immerses himself in new experiences, causes trouble, finds out that he is not the only one with social problems, and finds out what it truly means to be a hero.
On his path to realization, he meets an action character from a science fiction game named Sergeant Calhoun and causes trouble for her.
Shortly after he meets a sarcastic bundle of energy named Vanellope Von Schweets and together they overcome all of the conflicts and barriers in their world and end up saving the day.
The movie is the right combination of comedy and a heart warming storyline.
I think the movie was simply hilarious from the get go, and the animation was exhilarating.
After such a build up, the ever intuitive Searcy Lion Press couldn’t help but send people to see the movie for a more direct report.
Searcy senior (and my girlfriend) Savannah Baker went to see it for her birthday and I waited on her opinion.
“The movie was great and added to my already wonderful birthday. It was even better than expected. I love everything Disney,”
Accompanied with her personal opinion, all of the thematic ripples had begun to peak my interest, so I set off with the intention to see the movie for myself.
Even after all of the reviews I had my skepticism, not being a fan of simple movies or graphics slapped upon empty plots I feared the worst.
The movie surpassed everything I could possibly hope for. I laughed through the whole movie. It captivated my undivided attention. It was radiant!
There was some immature humor and naturally some childish effects but all in all it was a really solid movie with a deep meaning that intertwined itself in all of the characters.
Wreck it Ralph gripped me personally like no other children’s movie has done before. I strongly recommend it to anyone who needs something to do on a weekend.
