Conditioning class is a new way for athletes to improve in strength, speed, and is already showing significant results.
“There’s been a lot of improvements with all of our players from the strength aspect, upper body and lower body,” said coach Clay McCammon.
The lifting includes bench press, inclined, power claimed, and squat each day. Every day the class includes some type of stamina or endurance exercise.
“Their conditioning endurance definitely has been improved throughout the semester,” said McCammon.
Some days they only do abdomen workouts and other days they do running exercises. All student athletes train in the class in the off season.
