Bringing in a new style, many customers, and students looking for work, the new Tropical Smoothie restaurant opened up just two weeks ago.
It has been a big step for many around town and even here at school.
“It’s my first real job, and so far it has been pretty well. I’ve had some moments where I completely forgot anything and everything that I had been trained for,” junior and Tropical Smoothie employee Collin Whitney said.
Not only is Tropical Smoothie a great place to eat and get snacks and meals, it is a place for many to just come to enjoy their time there.
“It’s pretty new for me to go somewhere other than McDonald’s, but I’ve gotten to the point where I’ll go to Tropical Smoothie at least once a week to hang out after skating with my friends,” junior Thomas Williamson explained.
Tropical Smoothie has made a huge impact on many around Searcy.
“When I first found out about the city building a new restaurant I was not really happy at all, because I didn’t think that we even needed a new place for fast food at all,” customer Steven Whittley stated.
The new business is actually an extremely healthy place to spend some time.
“It’s healthy food wise, but it also has a very healthy atmosphere to go along with it, so that just adds onto the package,” Whitney explained.
The restaurant has been a huge hit among everyone around.
“It’s my newest favorite place, I have to leave it up the owner whether or not to keep up the good work and keep me as a customer,” Whitney added with a smile.
All in all, the new tropical smoothie has been a very big influence on almost everyone around.
