“It’s an opportunity for all the performance people who haven’t gotten to perform in front of people to do that, because it’s kind of a new thing,” said senior performer Davis Polston.

Not only does it help the young drama students, it helps the drama department as a whole.

“It pays for our plays and our trips and other multiple things that we need,” elaborated senior performer Kara Treadwell.

Improv, poems, and solo pieces are a few of the acts you can see at the dinner theater.

“I performed a poem called Sickle by Ky Davis. It’s an individual event. That’s what the Theater Performance II kids did,” added Treadwell.

Polston performed a solo piece, as he was in the Theater Performance II class.

“It was just from a play, and it was really funny and really fun,” stated Polston.

The Drama I students performed in groups for the parents.

“I was in a play, it was called ‘Little Red in the Hood.’ It was about the Wolf, who was accused of taking Little Red’s basket,” said junior performer Fayth Logan.

After costumes, scripts, and other royalties, the drama department was able to raise $230.
