I recently moved from Orlando, Florida and I got to experience ice for the first time. I have never lived in another state.

My family and I drove up to Batesville to see the real snow because it was just sleeting here in Searcy.

The snow was a new experience for me and I loved the feeling of it in my hands.

My mom enjoyed watching us interact with it; playing in the snow was a great way to bring our family together.

My sister, my dad, and I had a snow ball fight for the first time and we attempted to make a snow man. I texted all my friends down in Florida about it and they were excited for me and jealous.

Moving here has let me endure many new experiences.

My extended family has lived here for a long time. Being able to come close and interact with them is amazing; I love it.

My first snow day was fun and exciting. I have never seen anything compared to it. Sand sticks to you and is rough, while snow is soft and is cold.
