The Super Bowl is getting close this Sunday. Millions will tune in to not only the most highly anticipated NFL game of the year, but also the traditional legendary Super Bowl commercials.

“The football is my favorite part of the Super Bowl; I know a lot of people want the commercials, and that’s a good second, but I like the football,” said Gary Allen.

This year, the Seahawks and Broncos are squaring off for Super Bowl LXXIX.

“My team won good this year. I guess I’m going for the Seahawks; I don’t know I’m mostly going to be watching this year,” said Lamarcus Banks.

People have found many ways to prepare for the super bowl festivities.

“I usually spend Super Bowl Sunday in Nashville hanging out with a bunch of my musician buddies,” said Harry Clark.

“Lot’s of good food usually. My mom does kind of like a mexican food theme; she makes salsa, guacamole and stuff,” said Sophie Clark.

For some, the Super Bowl is an ending to a NFL season, but to others it’s the epitome to all football games and cannot be topped.

“I like a good game where two good teams get in the super bowl and we can have a good game and it’s close, that means a lot to me,” said Onye McGinnis.

Whether your watching the Super Bowl with family or friends, it’s an american tradition to tune in every year.

The Super Bowl will air this Sunday, February 2nd at 5:30 p.m on Fox.
