SEARCY (LP) Maddie Cossitt Senior of Searcy High School Concert Choir has been in High School choir for 4 years. She was in Junior High Choir for 2 years.
Maddie’s favorite thing to do is to sing. She says, “I joined choir because it’s a class where I can express my talent and voice.”
Maddie loves choir she calls it home. “Being in choir is truly like I have found my place in this crazy place called high school” says Maddie. Being in choir Maddie devotes her time to take it very serious. She loves expressing her feelings through her beautiful voice
“Being a member of Concert Choir you sing as one” says Maddie. So do your part. Being in choir there are no excuses. Just give your best in everything you do.
Maddie feels like choir is something she is good at. Maddie mentions, ” There is no making a mistake, you have to try harder and to learn from your mistakes.” Giving her best in everything she does, not just in choir, and all your accomplishments will be achieved.
Maddie Cossitt has made All-Region choir for 4 years and All-State choir for 4 years.
Winning these awards Maddie says, “I feel like I was actually good at something.” Maddie loves the fact that she has something she can work for and achieve it.
Maddie will be attending college at A-State. She doesn’t plan on majoring in the music field. Maddie says, “I can’t sing for the rest of my life, and I do plan on being in some type of choir as long as I have time and the passion for it.”
Maddie will be continuing her choir career in college. She will be attending A-State, singing in their mixed chorus, women chorus and be a member of their Concert Choir.
Maddie reminds her fellow classmates to always follow your dreams and you can accomplish anything in the world.
