Junior player, Freddy Hicks, led the team in scoring with a total of twenty-nine points. Freddy Hicks thinks when the football players return from football, then they will have a pretty good ball team. Freddy Hicks mentioned a few people who will be returning from the Searcy Football team, “Damone Lockhart, Bryce Dixon, Trystan Alcorn, Tanner Leanard, and hopefully Tony Young, are only a few of the many players we are missing due to football.” Freddy Hicks states, “I’m looking forward to the season, I think that this season will be a pretty good season. I still feel like I didn’t score enough points all because we didn’t win the game.” Freddy Hicks is hoping the opportunity comes for him to play basketball in college.
