Is education important?

Searcy, AR (LP) — The most fundamental element in life that everyone must accomplish for the first 12/13 years of their life whether they like it or not. It’s honestly the most depressing, fun, social change roller-coaster that shapes your future. But is it truly important? Some jobs and careers do not require an education or a degree. It just takes common sense and a little experience to get the job done. There was a time that education wasn’t even available to certain people. However as time progressed everyone got the opportunity to have a form of education, at least a form that is free. But how important is education? In order to become a teacher you must have a degree. Usually a bachelor’s degree would be sufficient enough to enter the education system. Like Mrs. Farhatt for instance. She said,  “I do feel that I give my best in school, but my students would be the best judges of this.” She loves secondary students and subjects. She cherishes her experiences in the corporate world and believes they prepared her to teach. For those that are unaware Mrs. Farhatt used to work at AT&T. She mentions, “Had I known I would enjoy secondary school so much she may have started teaching earlier. I met my husband and made many lifelong friends.” Now, she enjoys teaching 11th grade English. Mrs. Farhatt is one exceptional teacher that influenced many people and adults.

As you may know there are tiers or degrees that a person can achieve or accomplish: Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, Masters degree, and Doctorate Degree. With each degree that can land you from an average job with a salary of $45,989 a year to $97,916 a year. That’s a huge difference but it’s a choice overall. Everyone is different and some of the different people you’ll hear from will not want to go to college like Kaleb Crawford.

Kaleb is one of those people who believe college is a waste of time. Instead of going to a college for 0 2 to 4 years. He said,”I don’t want to go to college because most people I know end up in college debt and personally I think you can get a pretty good job without college.” Just like Mrs.Farhatt when she worked at AT&T.”Since I’m not going to college, I will just be working in factories which some people wouldn’t like but it is all about making the money and going on with my day.” He liked activities in school that kept his interest for a time being like orchestra and football.”The only thing at this moment all I am focused on is graduating cause for some people like me it is pretty hard.” In the end no matter what you do some form of education even if you don’t like it. His goals is to live life and never worry cause every second goes by as I’m typing this and lifes too short but I am not to worried I just wanna be able to do as much as I can and see as much as a can and never worry about spending because you can’t bring your money with you, when you die it doesn’t matter anymore it is all gone.
