Searcy, AR (LP) — Deciding whether a label is legitimate or not can sometimes be difficult, but knowing what artists they’ve released in the past years or recent months is a very important clue on top of checking reviews from artists and merchant consumers. Zee Dotcom has worked all his life striving to support artists and tries to motivate many to dive into new sounds. As with labels helping artists grow and get noticed Zee takes his time to allow others to be heard. “I have a digital marketing company called Z Dot LLC. My plans are to house a record label under this company. I’m interested in working with talented local artists and underground artists,” Zee Dotcom says. Zee continues to advance towards these goals. “I don’t want to limit myself to a specific genre. Instead, I want to concentrate on making different flavors of exceptional music. Since I’m able to make websites, shoot videos, and market effectively, I’ve been concentrating on the final piece to the puzzle. A lot of my clients are aspiring artists, but they have nowhere to record. I’ve been working hard on acquiring all the right hardware and learning more about engineering. That way, when someone wants a video, but they don’t even have the song recorded, I can be their 1 stop shop. I’m interested in making big names out of dreaming talented individuals. After that, I’d be willing to pass them on to a bigger label. Someone who will take care of them and give them more exposure than I can.” Zee Dotcom explains.

If you are interested in joining the world of music, there are some various groups and labels you can pitch your demos to. This being said, keep in mind that some contracts and online labels could be fraud. Background checking artists that have run through a specific label can really help figuring out the authenticity of said label company. We’ve all heard about record labels, but we’ve never thought about some labels actually tricking young artists into fatal contracts that can leave them in a bind which can destroy their careers starting out. Some record labels have already been taken down that have tricked artists and stolen thousands of dollars of work from each new artist who’s signed contracts. Labels nowadays hide the initiative to stagger artists within their careers by bringing them to the table of producing a hit, or a few more hits which take away from the possibilities of moving forward stronger and doing more since the released tracks had made a large impact on the artist’s fan base. The most popular record labels in electronic music is, Subsidia Records, NSD: Black Label, Never Say Die Records, Disciple Recordings, and Firepower Recordings. So far these record labels have stayed true and honest to their artists. Maintaining a balance between timelines for uploads and distribution to producing, in depth recording, and sound engineering.
