\n“I know one thing that we played four hard quarters, and I was very proud of the way that the guys stood in there and kept plugging away no matter what the circumstance was. We were\u00a0very proud of that,” said coach Tyler Dorton.

“I thought that the game plan was decent, we just have to get better at doing what we do,” said Dorton.

\nSearcy came out roaring in the first half, the second half told a different story.

\n“We came out really strong in the first half we were just scoring and scoring on Batesville and everyone was cheering and it was all good, but then the second half some things happened, I\u00a0feel like, with our defense; we got scored on a lot,” said Ford.

\nAlthough the lions came up short of victory, they still displayed excellent lion spirit and sportsmanship.

\nThe Lions have put this game behind them and are now focused on the rest of the season.
