""“Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” released in January, has struck the hearts of millions around the world.

This movie isn’t about the day of 9/11, but it’s it about every day after that. A little boy loses his father in the disaster. The son, Oskar, is a very smart boy with a very large imagination. Oskar finds a key hidden in his father’s closet, so he decides to go on an adventure to find the lock to the key.

The only clue he has is the name “Black” written on the little envelope. He finds every Black in New York City and visits them in hopes of finding the lock or the owner of the key. In the process, his family is dealing with the loss of a son, husband, and father.

This movie has a very realistic perspective on a family’s life after a tragic loss. The movie shows Oscar and his mother going through the phases of coping with his death.

""

The director of this movie, Stephen Daldry, did a good job with the production and presentation of this movie. All of the hype from this movie is worth it.

The sets and scenery on this movie were presented very well. The scene I liked best was the scene where Oskar and his father went to the park and his father tried to get Oskar to swing. The park scene was portrayed very well.

The movie is set in New York City over the course of a few years.

Sandra Bullock plays the part of the mother, and her character’s actions were sometimes confusing, but in the end everything came together and made sense.

Tom Hanks played the character of a very caring and understand father, and he pulled his character off very well.

Thomas Horn, Oskar Schell, played a very convincing young boy who saw what he wanted and went for it. He was very believable as a boy on a mission.

In this movie, I did not like the fact that it was never clear on Oskar. Some events during the movie led me to believe that he was autistic, but this was never clearly confirmed.

I did like the fact that Oskar knew that the old man was his grandfather, and the fact that he told him that.

Another thing I did not like was that his grandfather left him to search by himself. At the end, the grandfather never game back. I wish the grandfather had come back, and the boy could have lived happily ever after with his newly-found grandpa.

In general, the movie was very well thought out and original. I enjoyed seeing this movie and recommend it for others.

Warning: this movie will probably result in tears.
