PROM CLOSET:<\/b> The first SHS Prom Closet shopping day will be held on the 3rd floor of the SHS PAC on\u00a0Wednesday, February 21 from 3:30-5 P.M.\u00a0Any student attending the SHS prom is welcome to check out the formalwear inventory. A second shopping day will be held\u00a0Wednesday, March 14.<\/span><\/p>\n

CONGRATULATIONS<\/b> to the SHS Chess team on their performance at the Bryant Regional Tournament\u00a0Saturday.\u00a0 They qualified for the State Tournament in Benton on\u00a0March 3rd.\u00a0 Participating members were Tyler Ellis, Sophia Nguyen, Amon Nguyen and Greg Supratman.<\/span><\/p>\n

FFA’S LIDS FOR KIDS SERVICE PROJECT<\/b> :<\/b>Searcy FFA Chapter will be celebrating National FFA week next week, February 19 – 23, 2018.\u00a0 Each year the chapter selects a service project to benefit a local organization.\u00a0 This year SHS FFA worked with Mr. Hodges to planned a fundraiser called “Lids for Kids.” \u00a0The proceeds for the Lids for Kids fundraiser will benefit the SHS Food Pantry. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

SHS students who choose to participate will make a donation in order to receive the privilege to wear their cap during school hours.\u00a0 Mr. Hodges requested that we provide students who donated with a sticker to be worn on their cap, to signify that they are supporting the Lids of Kids fundraiser.\u00a0 These stickers will be sold outside of the cafeteria during lunch from February 15 thru February 23.\u00a0 The stickers cost $1 per sticker and should be worn visibly on the cap with the specified color for that day. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
