CONGRATULATIONS<\/b> to Arden Elliot for being named Yearbook Sweetheart!<\/span><\/p>\n

ON\u00a0SEPTEMBER 26<\/b>, Bowden Photography will be on campus for Make-up and Group pictures.<\/span><\/p>\n

REGARDING THE SECURITY DOOR SYSTEM:<\/b>\u00a0 The right side door is the one with the automatic lock.\u00a0 When you are buzzed to enter the building the right side door will open.\u00a0 YOU WILL ONLY HAVE 3 SECONDS TO PULL THE DOOR OPEN before it locks again.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FALL PLAY<\/b>: Auditions for the fall play Jungle Book are\u00a0Tues. Aug. 28 at 3:30 pm.\u00a0 Audition packets can be picked up outside of the drama room in the PAC.<\/span><\/p>\n

BOYS BASKETBALL:<\/b> Any students new to the district who are interested in trying out for basketball please contact Coach White before\u00a0September 7th. Coach White is in room 218 from 2nd-6th period.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quiz Bowl: <\/b>First Quiz Bowl Practice for 10th-12th graders will be\u00a0Monday, September 17th from 3:15-4:15\u00a0in Room 123<\/span><\/p>\n

ANY GIRLS<\/b> new to the district that want to play basketball needs to come see Coach Sitzmann by\u00a0Aug 31st.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CAFETERIA ANNOUCEMENT:<\/b><\/p>\n

Our new board-approved Food Service Prepayment policy will limit meal charges to\u00a0<\/span>$20.00<\/span>\u00a0for junior high and high school students\u00a0<\/span>beginning\u00a0<\/span>Monday, August 27, 2018.\u00a0 When meal charges exceed this level and the student does not offer a cash payment for the meal, 7th-12 grade students will be offered a healthy \u201calternate meal\u201d which consists of a meat\/cheese sandwich, fruit, vegetables, and milk.\u00a0 If a student does not wish to accept this alternate meal, they will be asked to sign a statement to that effect. \u00a0\u00a0Remember that meal payments may be made by cash or check in the cafeteria, or online at\u00a0<\/span>www.mypaymentsplus.com<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

DRAMA CLUB MEETING:<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>The first drama club meeting is\u00a0Tues. Aug. 28 at 7:30 am\u00a0in the drama room.\u00a0 Club dues are $10.\u00a0 We will be voting for club sweetheart at this meeting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FRENCH CLUB<\/b> dues are $5 for current French students wishing to join (whether new or returning) and may be paid to Miss McCready in Room 301. Only paid members may vote for Sweetheart and Officers.”<\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENT COUNCIL<\/b>:<\/span> Student council will meet in Mrs. Edelmann’s room (204) on\u00a0<\/span>Monday, August 27 at 7:30 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

FTA:<\/b> Any student interested in joining Future Teachers of America can stop by Mrs. Cook’s room starting\u00a0Wednesday, August 22\u00a0to pay dues and pick up club information.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

YOUTH TO YOUTH<\/b> will meet\u00a0Friday, August 24, in Mrs. Delgado’s room at\u00a07:40 am.\u00a0 We will collect yearly membership dues.\u00a0 Dues for new members are $7.\u00a0 Returning members are $5.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FCA Meetings:\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0 FCA meetings will be\u00a0on Thursday\u00a0mornings at\u00a07:30\u00a0in the hospitality room of the gym beginning this\u00a0Thursday, August 23rd.\u00a0 ALL students are invited.\u00a0 See Coach Turney with any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

THE FIRST KEY CLUB MEETING<\/b>\u00a0 is for former members only in the cafeteria\u00a0Tuesday, Sept. 4th at 7:35 A.M.\u00a0Bring your $15 dues on that day.\u00a0 We need to nominate and vote for the Key Club Homecoming Sweetheart and also Key Club officers.\u00a0 If you want to nominate for Key Club officers ahead of time, put your name on a piece of paper and the name of the office and the person you are nominating for that office and drop it by Mr. Snow’s room 112.\u00a0 New members will need to drop by and pick up a new member application after\u00a0Sept. 4th\u00a0in Mr. Snow’s room 112.<\/span><\/p>\n

SPANISH HONORARY<\/b> dues $5 may be paid to Ms. Nielsen.\u00a0 Members who have paid their dues should come by Ms. Nielsen’s room to vote for Officers and Sweetheart\u00a0Thursday, Aug. 23.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/b>FCCLA<\/b> is collecting dues, pay your $12.00 to Ms. Johnston in Room 104.\u00a0 The first order of club shirt will be going in\u00a0Monday\u00a027th, the cost is $18.00.\u00a0 We will order shirts again at the end of September.<\/span><\/p>\n
