LOST AND FOUND:<\/b> The Lost and Found basket is growing in the West Office.\u00a0 If you have misplaced a jacket, lunch bag or other item, please come check the basket.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

ASVAB INTERPRETATION: <\/b>Monday, November 26<\/span>\u00a0we will have an Army representative on campus at\u00a0<\/span>8:00<\/span>\u00a0to conduct a test interpretation for the students who took the ASVAB.\u00a0 Students who took the ASVAB need to report to the cafeteria.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SHS CHOIR HOLIDAY CAF\u00c9 <\/b>will be NOVEMBER 29 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets will go on sale next week for $5.00. <\/span>Solo and small group performances by members of the choir. Cocoa, coffee and baked goods will be available for purchase.<\/span><\/p>\n

ASMSA<\/b>:\u00a0<\/span>A representative from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts will be on our campus on\u00a0November 30\u00a0to talk to interested students.\u00a0 Any 9th or 10th grade student who has a 3.5 GPA on their core courses is welcome to sign up to meet with the representative.\u00a0 \u00a0 Interested students must sign up in the Guidance Center by\u00a0November 29.<\/span><\/p>\n

GOVERNOR\u2019S SCHOOL:<\/b>11th grade students interested in attending Governor’s School at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville this summer (July7-August 3) can sign up in the Guidance Center.\u00a0 Programs of study are;\u00a0 Cybersecurity Specialty Program, Drama, Visual Arts, Mathematics, Social Science, English\/Language Arts, Natural Science, Choral Music, and Instrumental Music.\u00a0 The deadline to sign up is\u00a0November 30.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CONGRATULATIONS <\/b>to Searcy Drama students Ethan Million, Emily Provence, Stella Engel, Ashlynn Foster, Vannah Brown, and Gabi Hammonds who the competed at the 50th Annual Arkansas Student Congress Nov. 11-13. They received the following awards and designations:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COLLEGE DAYS AND PERSONAL DAYS<\/b> must be<\/span>\u00a0pre-approve<\/b>d by the office.\u00a0 College days are only for Seniors.\u00a0 There are request forms in both offices to see if you qualify for Personal days<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

BUBBLE BETTER<\/b> is an ACT math and science prep class.\u00a0 Science will be offered\u00a0<\/span>November 25<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>Sunday<\/span>)\u00a0<\/span>2:00-5:00 pm<\/span>\u00a0and the math class will be offered\u00a0<\/span>December 1<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>Saturday<\/span>)\u00a0<\/span>9:00-12:30 pm.<\/span>\u00a0 Interested students can pick up information in the Guidance Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0FBLA<\/b> is hosting a fundraiser\u00a0to support the March of Dimes foundation.\u00a0 Students will be set up outside the cafeteria during both lunches on\u00a0Wednesday, November 14\u00a0through Friday, November 16\u00a0to collect donations.\u00a0 Everyone is encouraged to wear purple on\u00a0Friday, November 16\u00a0in support of World Prematurity Day<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
