LOST AND FOUND:<\/span><\/span> The Lost and Found basket is growing in the West Office.\u00a0 If you have misplaced a jacket, lunch bag or other item, please come check the basket.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

BASEBALL TRYOUTS<\/span><\/span> will be held Tuesday Dec. 4th, Wednesday Dec. 5th, & Thursday Dec. 6<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span> from 3:30 – 5:00 at the Indoor Practice Facility.\u00a0Coach Davis will be having short meetings next Monday and Tuesday before fall break, at 3:05 after school in the Annex Gym for anyone who wishes to tryout for the Baseball Team<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> Anyone who is currently or will be playing basketball, your tryouts will be held after the end of your season<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ASVAB INTREPRETATION:<\/span><\/span> Monday, November 26<\/span><\/span>\u00a0we will have an Army representative on campus at\u00a0<\/span><\/span>8:00<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to conduct a test interpretation for the students who took the ASVAB.\u00a0 Students who took the ASVAB need to report to the cafeteria.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

SHS CHOIR HOLIDAY CAF\u00c9 <\/span><\/span>will be NOVEMBER 29 6<\/span><\/span>:00-8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets will go on sale next week <\/span><\/span>for $5.00<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span>Solo and small group performances by members of the choir.<\/span><\/span> Cocoa, coffee and baked goods will be available for purchase.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ASMSA<\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A representative from the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts will be on our campus on\u00a0<\/span><\/span>November 30<\/span><\/span>\u00a0to talk to interested students.\u00a0 Any 9th or 10th grade student who has a 3.5 GPA on their core courses is welcome to sign up to meet with the representative.\u00a0 \u00a0 Interested students must sign up in the Guidance Center by\u00a0<\/span><\/span>November 29<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

GOVERNOR\u2019S SCHOOL:<\/span><\/span>11th grade students interested in attending Governor’s School at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville this summer (<\/span><\/span>July7-August 3<\/span><\/span>) can sign up in the Guidance Center.\u00a0 Programs of study are;\u00a0 Cybersecurity Specialty Program, Drama, Visual Arts, Mathematics, Social Science, English\/Language Arts, Natural Science, Choral Music, and Instrumental Music.\u00a0 The deadline to sign up is\u00a0<\/span><\/span>November 30<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

STUDENTSCHOLARSHIPS.ORG<\/span><\/span> is a great website to access thousands of scholarships. Check it out!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

COLLEGE DAYS AND PERSONAL DAYS<\/span><\/span> must be<\/span><\/span>\u00a0pre-approve<\/span><\/span>d by the office.\u00a0 College days are only for Seniors.\u00a0 There are request forms in both offices to see if you qualify for Personal days<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

BUBBLE BETTER<\/span><\/span> is an ACT math and science prep class.\u00a0 Science will be offered\u00a0<\/span><\/span>November 25<\/span><\/span>\u00a0(<\/span><\/span>Sunday<\/span><\/span>)\u00a0<\/span><\/span>2:00-5:00 pm<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and the math class will be offered\u00a0<\/span><\/span>December 1<\/span><\/span>\u00a0(<\/span><\/span>Saturday<\/span><\/span>)\u00a0<\/span><\/span>9:00-12:30 pm.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 Interested students can pick up information in the Guidance Center.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
