\nHIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL TRYOUTS<\/b>: High School Girls (10-12th) Basketball Tryout<\/b>CONGRATULATIONS<\/b> to the Chess Team for their performance at Regionals in Lake Hamilton Saturday.\u00a0 They scored 9 points and earned a spot to compete at State.\u00a0 Participating members were: Tyler Ellis, Matthew Fudge, Lawson Neal and Greg Supratman.<\/span><\/p>\n

April 15-16th from 3:15-4:30<\/b><\/p>\n

For all students 10-12th grades, that are interested in playing high school basketball and joining our BASKETBALL FAMILY!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MUST HAVE AN UPDATED PHYSICAL TURNED IN PRIOR TO THE START OF THE TRYOUT TO PARTICIPATE. TURN PHYSICAL AND TRYOUT FORM IN TO COACH SITZMANN BY APRIL 12TH!<\/b><\/p>\n

FREE PHYSICALS OFFERED APRIL 5TH 3:30-5:00 AT SHS FIELD HOUSE.<\/b><\/p>\n

JOSTENS<\/b>: On March 12th, Jostens will be in the cafeteria passing out senior orders during 1st and 2nd periods. Seniors are to report to their 1st period and wait for an all call. You must be paid in full in order to pick up your order. If you are not on campus during that time, all orders will be available for\u00a0pick up in Mrs. Hamilton’s office.\u00a0 See Mrs. Joyner if you have any questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

CLINICAL INTERNSHIP:<\/b> Students interested in applying for Clinical Internship can pick up applications in the Guidance Center.\u00a0 Students must have a 3.0 to apply.\u00a0 Completed applications are due in Guidance Center no later than March 13<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

THE KEY CLUB<\/b> will host the Spring Blood Drive in the foyer of the Basketball Gym on Tuesday, March 5th from 8:30 A.M.- 2:00 P.M. You must sign-up with Mr. Snow room 112.\u00a0 Participants must be at least 16 years old and\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A SIGNED PARENTAL PERMISSION FORM TO GIVE BLOOD.\u00a0<\/b>See Mr. Snow for sign-up and parent permission forms.\u00a0 You will need to have a picture ID to give blood.\u00a0 Sign-ups will begin this next Monday, Feb. 25th. Free t-shirts for those who give.<\/span><\/p>\n

ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY PACK PREVIEW DAY<\/b> will be held Saturday, March 9.Pack Preview is open to juniors and prospective seniors, as well as their family members\/guests. The day will consist of an information fair, academic sessions, student services and involvement panels, and campus tours. We will also provide students with free access to the A-State Men\u2019s Basketball game against conference rivals, ULL (upon their request during registration).This semi-annual event is our most in-depth opportunity for students to get a glimpse into life at A-State. Pack Preview is completely free, but students are required to register at\u00a0<\/span>www.astate.edu\/packpreview<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n<\/span>FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR VARSITY CHEER OR LIONSTEPPERS:<\/b> \u00a0<\/span>A mandatory meeting will be held\u00a0for all interested girls and one parent Tuesday, March 12th 5:30 pm in the Main Gym. All candidates must sign the list in the East or West Office. You have must have at least a 2.0 GPA to try out. Contact Ms. Cramblett or Ms. Simpson if you have any questions. <\/span><\/p>\n
