\nPROM CLOSET: Searcy High School Prom Closet will hold its shopping dates on
\nThursday, March 7 and Tuesday, April 2 from 3:30-5 P.M. SHS students who are attending
\nthe SHS prom and would like to take advantage of the free service are invited to visit the
\nSHS Prom Closet. Located on the 3rd floor of the Searcy High School Performing Arts Center, inventory consists of prom
\nitems for females such as dresses, shoes, purses, and jewelry, and a small inventory of men's suits and ties. Students may also

\nCAFETERIA ANNOUNCEMENT:
\nOur school cafeteria will be celebrating "National School Breakfast Week" during the week of March 4-8th! This year's
\ntheme is "School Breakfast: Start Your Engines".\u00a0 There will be some new items offered on the breakfast menus plus chances
\nto win fun prizes daily!\u00a0 So, make plans to swing by the cafeteria between 7:30 and 8:00 next week to "fuel up" for your
\nschool day and join in the celebration!
\nUNITY HEALTH is offering a program for rising 11th-12th grade students interested in the medical field. The Careers and
\nMedical Professions (CAMP) program will be held Monday June 10th through Friday, June 14th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:00
\npm each day at White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas, It is provided as a courtesy of Unity Health at no cost to

FREE PHYSICALS OFFERED APRIL 5TH 3:30-5:00 AT SHS FIELD HOUSE.<\/p>\n
JOSTENS: On March 12th, Jostens will be in the cafeteria passing out senior orders during 1st and 2nd periods. Seniors are
\nto report to their 1st period and wait for an all call. You must be paid in full in order to pick up your order. If you are not on
\ncampus during that time, all orders will be available for\u00a0pick up in Mrs. Hamilton's office.\u00a0 See Mrs. Joyner if you have any
\nquestions.
\nCLINICAL INTERNSHIP: Students interested in applying for Clinical Internship can pick up applications in the Guidance
\nCenter.\u00a0 Students must have a 3.0 to apply.\u00a0 Completed applications are due in Guidance Center no later than March 13
\nTHE KEY CLUB will host the Spring Blood Drive in the foyer of the Basketball Gym on Tuesday, March 5th from 8:30
\nA.M.- 2:00 P.M. You must sign-up with Mr. Snow room 112.\u00a0 Participants must be at least 16 years old and\u00a0\u00a0ALL
\nPARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A SIGNED PARENTAL PERMISSION FORM TO GIVE BLOOD.\u00a0See Mr. Snow
\nfor sign-up and parent permission forms.\u00a0 You will need to have a picture ID to give blood.\u00a0 Sign-ups will begin this next
\nMonday, Feb. 25th. Free t-shirts for those who give.
\nARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY PACK PREVIEW DAY will be held Saturday, March 9.Pack Preview is open to
\njuniors and prospective seniors, as well as their family members\/guests. The day will consist of an information fair, academic
\nsessions, student services and involvement panels, and campus tours. We will also provide students with free access to the A-
\nState Men\u2019s Basketball game against conference rivals, ULL (upon their request during registration).This semi-annual event
\nis our most in-depth opportunity for students to get a glimpse into life at A-State. Pack Preview is completely free, but
\nstudents are required to register at\u00a0 www.astate.edu\/packpreview .
\nFOR THOSE INTERESTED IN TRYING OUT FOR VARSITY CHEER OR LIONSTEPPERS: A mandatory
\nmeeting will be held\u00a0for all interested girls and one parent Tuesday, March 12th 5:30 pm in the Main Gym. All candidates<\/p>\n
must sign the list in the East or West Office. You have must have at least a 2.0 GPA to try out. Contact Ms. Cramblett or Ms.
