Many churches have their own little conventions that are scattered around. The Methodist churches of Arkansas all gather in Hot Springs for Veritas. Filled with 1,500 students and adults in the Hot Springs convention center.  I got to go this past weekend and watch as music and worship change many lives. I got the chance to interview Lynlea Lohnes about the experience she participated in. She thought it would have been just a three-day concert full of worship and nothing more, but she soon figured out that when you are surrounded by many kind people with life changing experiences you realize just how much you should not take what you have for granted. She met many kind and funny people in the “small groups” and built many friendships up from the very revitalizing lessons. Many speakers came from all around the globe like famous world touring Levi the poet. After every night Veritas would give devotions to our youth leaders for us to discuss on our own times.
