John has been running the 800 for a couple of years now and has done well but he says, “There is room for improvement on my part.” He also talked about how he is going to change his training habits to become better, faster, and more in shape so that he can, “Get done what I need to in the beginning, middle, and end of the race.” The athlete talked about how he is already feeling confident that he will out do his current record by the end of the season, “This year I feel confident that I will be able to beat my standing record in the 800.” He also talked about how the team has been bonding and how they are performing as a team and their intensity in practice, “My teammates and I have been training harder this year than we have been in recent years, and I feel very confident about our season.”

As Caleb Fairchild is a senior this year he is looking to do better this year than he has ever before and explains about what he is going to do to make sure that happens. “We have been working very hard on technique making that a main priority this year.” The athlete has been excited about the upcoming season explaining how he is ready to get back in shape and compete again. “I love track season because I get to be in better shape and I get to compete against other students and make myself better.” The student talks about how being on the team has impacted him saying that “ I have enjoyed the people I have met and the relationships that we have built together.”

The track team has been working hard to prepare for the season. They are all excited to go out and compete and make a name for themselves and their school. Make sure to check out the track team at their upcoming meets.
