JUNIORS/ SENIORS: If you received an invitation to join NHS , please pay your induction fee of $10.00 to Mrs. Webb in room 314 by Friday, April 13, 2018 or make arrangements with Mrs. Rose for future payment.
Our next meeting is Tuesday April 17th at 7:35 in Mrs. Rose’s room (Room 309).
WRESTLING TRYOUTS: For any boy or girl that would like to join the wrestling team. The Searcy High School Wrestling team will be holding tryouts May 1st and 2nd from 3:30 to 6pm in the Wrestling Room (Old Field House). You must have a physical to tryout. Go by Coach Ashburn or Mrs. Evans room to pick up a flyer and sign up.
2018 SHS GRADUATION DVD PRE-ORDERS: Pick up your DVD order form in either office. Each DVD is $20, and the money must be turned in with your order. Please have exact change or check will be accepted.

Special Olympics Fundraiser: On Friday, April 13, 2018, the Searcy Police Department will be working with the Searcy High School Special Olympics athletes, to raise money for Special Olympics Arkansas. During lunch on that day, the officers and athletes will be bussing tables for tips. Please help us out in this effort, by bringing any extra change you may have at the house.

SHS FILM FESTIVAL: The Searcy High School Theatre Department invites all SHS students to participate in our Spring Film Festival. Students are encouraged to write, direct, film, and star in a five minute short film and attend the viewing on April 24.

How: 1. Pick up judging rubric & entry form from outside Mrs. Taylor’s room in the PAC.

Films will be presented to an audience and judges in the SHS Performing Arts Center on April 24, starting at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:00 p.m.). All participants along with family and friends are invited. Tickets will be sold at the door ($5 per person). 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be awarded. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT: APRIL 13 by 10:00 p.m.
SENIORS:The Will McGary Memorial Award has now been posted to the scholarship website. Please make note that this scholarship MUST BE MAILED BY THE APPLICANT to the address specified on the application.
