ANY GIRLS new to the district that want to play basketball needs to come see Coach Sitzmann by Aug 31st.
ASU BEEBE will be on campus to enroll our students for ON CAMPUS concurrent credit courses on August 22 and 23. Students MUST bring their concurrent forms they were given at registration with their parents signature. The absolute deadline to enroll is August 24 and would have to be completed on an ASU campus.
CAFETERIA ANNOUCEMENT:
Our new board-approved Food Service Prepayment policy will limit meal charges to $20.00 for junior high and high school students beginning Monday, August 27, 2018. When meal charges exceed this level and the student does not offer a cash payment for the meal, 7th-12 grade students will be offered a healthy “alternate meal” which consists of a meat/cheese sandwich, fruit, vegetables, and milk. If a student does not wish to accept this alternate meal, they will be asked to sign a statement to that effect. Remember that meal payments may be made by cash or check in the cafeteria, or online at www.mypaymentsplus.com.

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
FTA: Any student interested in joining Future Teachers of America can stop by Mrs. Cook’s room starting Wednesday, August 22 to pay dues and pick up club information.
SPANISH CLUB dues are $5 and may be paid to Miss Haynes in Room 324. Only paid members may vote for Sweetheart and Officers.
CHESS CLUB will have its first practice Wednesday, August 22 at 3:05 in Room 324
ART CLUB meeting in Room 201 on Thursday, August 23rd at 7:40 for those interested in joining that are current or former Art students.
YOUTH TO YOUTH will meet Friday, August 24, in Mrs. Delgado’s room at 7:40 am. We will collect yearly membership dues. Dues for new members are $7. Returning members are $5.
FCA Meetings: FCA meetings will be on Thursday mornings at 7:30 in the hospitality room of the gym beginning this Thursday, August 23rd. ALL students are invited. See Coach Turney with any questions.
THE FIRST KEY CLUB MEETING is for former members only in the cafeteria Tuesday, Sept. 4th at 7:35 A.M. Bring your $15 dues on that day. We need to nominate and vote for the Key Club Homecoming Sweetheart and also Key Club officers. If you want to nominate for Key Club officers ahead of time, put your name on a piece of paper and the name of the office and the person you are nominating for that office and drop it by Mr. Snow’s room 112. New members will need to drop by and pick up a new member application after Sept. 4th in Mr. Snow’s room 112.
