BOWLING MEETING THURSDAY AT 3:05 IN THE ANNEX. The meeting will only last about 20 minutes. If you plan on trying out for the team you must attend or come by and see Coach Leonard before Friday morning.

9TH GRADE QUIZ BOWL: Ninth grade students interested in participating in Jr. high quiz bowl should attend practice next Thursday, September 6th after school at Alhf Junior High in room 311. Practice will end at 4:15 pm, plan your transportation accordingly.
MAKE-UP/GROUP PICTURES: On September 26, Bowden Photography will be on campus for Make-up and Group pictures.
PEP RALLY : There will be a pep rally Friday, August 31 at 2:40 for grades 10th-12th.
FALL PLAY: Auditions for the fall play Jungle Book are Tuesday, August 28 at 3:30 pm. Audition packets can be picked up outside of the drama room in the PAC.
BOYS BASKETBALL: Any students new to the district who are interested in trying out for basketball, please contact Coach White before September 7th. Coach White is in room 218 from 2nd-6th period.
Quiz Bowl: First Quiz Bowl Practice for 10th-12th graders will be Monday, September 17th from 3:15-4:15 in Room 123
GIRLS BASKETBALL: Any girls new to the district that want to play basketball need to come see Coach Sitzmann by August 31st.
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
FBLA: If you are taking a business class or have taken a business class and would like to join FBLA, our first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 5 at 7:35 in room 206. Please bring your $15 dues on or before this date in order to vote for sweetheart.
FFA: FFA Meeting, Thursday, August 30 at 7:25 am at the Ag Building.
FFA’S ANNUAL BACK TO SCHOOL BASH is Thursday, August 30 4-6 pm at the AG Building There will be ice cream, ICEE’s, outdoor games, and music for anyone who wants to stop by and hang out!
STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING will be Monday, September 10 at 7:30 in Mrs. Edelmann’s room (204).
If you have not signed up for the google classroom and new remind for this year, do so by the 31st. If you need the codes, stop by Mrs. Edelmann’s room (204).
BETA CLUB: Dues for the 2018-2019 school year are $15 and are due to Mrs. White or Mrs. Holman by September 7th. Any Beta Club member who wishes to be active this school must pay dues. You will vote for sweetheart when you pay your dues. Also, be sure to sign up for both the Beta Classroom page and the Beta Remind texts. See Mrs. White or Mrs. Holman if you have any questions.
FRENCH CLUB dues are $5 for current French students wishing to join (whether new or returning) and may be paid to Miss McCready in Room 301. Only paid members may vote for Sweetheart and Officers.”
FTA: Any student interested in joining Future Teachers of America can stop by Mrs. Cook’s room starting Wednesday, August 22 to pay dues and pick up club information.
SPANISH CLUB dues are $5 and may be paid to Miss Haynes in Room 324. Only paid members may vote for Sweetheart and Officers.
YOUTH TO YOUTH: Anyone who was not able to attend the Youth to Youth meeting Friday, please come by to pay your dues and vote for sweetheart. Please do so by Tuesday afternoon, August 28.
FCA Meetings: FCA meetings will be on Thursday mornings at 7:30 in the hospitality room of the gym beginning this Thursday, August 23rd. ALL students are invited. See Coach Turney with any questions.
KEY CLUB MEETING: The first Key Club meeting is for former members only in the cafeteria Tuesday, Sept. 4th at 7:35 A.M. Bring your $15 dues on that day. We need to nominate and vote for the Key Club Homecoming Sweetheart and also Key Club officers. If you want to nominate for Key Club officers ahead of time, put your name on a piece of paper and the name of the office and the person you are nominating for that office and drop it by Mr. Snow’s room 112. New members will need to drop by and pick up a new member application after Sept. 4th in Mr. Snow’s room 112.
FRENCH HONORARY: Any student already in French Honorary needs to come by Miss McCready’s room 301 to pay dues for this year. Only those who have paid dues may be nominated for and vote for Sweetheart. Dues are $10 if you did the fundraiser, $20 if you did not.
SPANISH HONORARY : Dues of $5 may be paid to Ms. Nielsen.
FCCLA: Paid members come by FACS room Friday to vote for sweetheart.
