LOST AND FOUND: The Lost and Found basket is growing in the West Office.  If you have misplaced a jacket, lunch bag or other item, please come check the basket.

 

SHS CHOIR HOLIDAY CAFÉ will be NOVEMBER 29 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Tickets will go on sale next week for $5.00. Solo and small group performances by members of the choir. Cocoa, coffee and baked goods will be available for purchase. 

CONGRATULATIONS to Searcy Drama students Ethan Million, Emily Provence, Stella Engel, Ashlynn Foster, Vannah Brown, and Gabi Hammonds who the competed at the 50th Annual Arkansas Student Congress Nov. 11-13. They received the following awards and designations: 

 

Stella Engel: House I Head Page as well as the award for House I Outstanding Page

 

Ashlynn Foster: Head Page of the Senate as well as Senate Outstanding Page

 

Gain Hammonds: Exelence in Caucus

 

Vannah Brown: Superior in Committee, Excellent in Caucus, Excellent in Parlimentary Procedure, as well as Best Delegation

COLLEGE DAYS AND PERSONAL DAYS must be pre-approved by the office.  College days are only for Seniors.  There are request forms in both offices to see if you qualify for Personal days.

 

BUBBLE BETTER is an ACT math and science prep class.  Science will be offered November 25 (Sunday) 2:00-5:00 pm and the math class will be offered December 1 (Saturday) 9:00-12:30 pm.  Interested students can pick up information in the Guidance Center.

 

 FBLA is hosting a fundraiser to support the March of Dimes foundation.  Students will be set up outside the cafeteria during both lunches on Wednesday, November 14 through Friday, November 16 to collect donations.  Everyone is encouraged to wear purple on Friday, November 16 in support of World Prematurity Day.

 

SPRING BREAK 2020: Would you like to spend a week in Ireland?  Come by and see Miss Haynes before or after school for more details about the Spring Break 2020 opportunity.

 

10th Grade Students: BMI testing will be performed on November 26th, 2018.
