FCCLA WILL BE SELLING CARNATION FLOWERS FOR VALENTINES: Cost will be $2.00 for each flower and colors available will be red and pink.  We will begin taking orders on Wednesday 30th and end on Tuesday 5th. Orders will be taken during both lunches or you may stop by the FACS room before and after school or between classes.  Payment is due upon ordering.  Each flower will be wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon with an attached valentine card.  Deliveries will be on Valentine’s Day during 7th and 8th periods.  See Ms. Johnston if you have any questions, room 104.

 

HARDING UNIVERSITY PHARMACY CAMP: Harding University College of Pharmacy will host a Pharmacy Summer Camp June 16-21 on the University’s campus. For more information go to http://www.harding.edu/pharmacycamp

 

  1. and MISS SHS NOMINATIONS: The East and West offices will be taking Mr. and Miss Nominations from Friday, January 25 through Thursday, January 31.  ONLY students who are currently SENIORS may nominate one male and one female student.  Criteria for candidates are as follows:  no suspensions during this school year and must be a good role model, responsible, kind, etc.

 

FOOD PANTRY: Do not forget about the SHS food pantry!  If you are in need of food, let any teacher know, come to Mrs. Edelmann’s room (204), or Mrs. Little’s room (102) to pick up a food pack.  We also have coats and toiletry items available.

SENIOR CAP/GOWN ORDEERS:  DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED!!! The deadline to order your cap/gown through Jostens.com has been extended to March 1st.  Please be sure to get these ordered as soon as possible. There are still many who have not ordered.

 

ATTENTION SENIORS: local scholarships are being posted to the website. Please check daily for updated ones. Students will need to print them out and follow the instructions closely regarding deadlines, essays, transcripts, or other items required.

 

SCHOLARSHIPS: SENIORS – The White County Farm Bureau Scholarship form is ready to be picked up in the Guidance Center. If you or your parents are members, please pick up an application.

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS: 

Key Club:The Key Club will meet this coming Tuesday, February 4th in the cafeteria at 7:35 A.M. We will be talking about the March 5th Blood Drive and Mud Volleyball along with a possible service project. Please be on time
