ACT: Students can register without late fees for the October ACT until Friday, September 27!

CONGRATULATIONS to Joshua Williams and Ethan Jobe for being the first students to pass a Microsoft certification exam this year!  Congratulations Joshua and Ethan!!

 

ASVAB: Searcy High School will administer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) on November 5.  Interested students can sign up in the Guidance Center no later than October 31.

 

SHS Student Council presents Homecoming Spirit Week 2019:

Monday Sept. 30: Class Colors Day- Freshman wear Grey, Sophomores wear white, Juniors wear black, and Seniors wear red. 

Tuesday Oct. 1: Pop Culture Day- Dress as your favorite popular character ( book, tv, movie, meme, etc. ) 

Wednesday Oct. 2: Gone Fishin’ Day- Dress in your best country attire ( fishing, hunting, farm gear, etc. ) 

Thursday Oct. 3: Babies vs. Old Folks Day- Freshman&Sophomores dress like babies/kids. Juniors & Seniors dress like senior citizens. 

Friday Oct. 4: Fancy Friday- Dress in your best!

 Remember, All the SHS dress code rules still apply; the only exceptions that will be allowed are hat or caps as a clear part of an appropriate spirit week costume. Teachers may request that they be removed in the classroom. 

 

IMMUNIZATIONS :If you have not received your 2nd MCV4 (Meningitis) shot at the age of 16, you will be dropped on 10/1/2019.  All other shots must be up to date or an exemption letter received by 10/1/2019 also in order to avoid being dropped.

 

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS: 

FCCLA :Students interested in joining FCCLA, deadline for dues is Sept. 30th and are $15.00.

Club shirt orders and money are also due on Sept. 30th and are $18.00
