PRIVATELY-FUNDED SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION AT A-STATE: The link to the Privately-Funded Scholarship application at A-State is open for students. All admitted students are eligible to apply for these scholarships, which are awarded by alumni and donors of the university. Each scholarship has different requirements, which are determined by the person(s) who donate the funds. Scholarships are for full-time students and require evidence of scholastic achievement and/or outstanding ability in the area of the award, and they also vary in amounts and duration of the award. There are over 300 scholarships in this database and students only need the one application.

Arkansas State has made it very easy for students to apply for these scholarships. Simply complete the online application to automatically apply for every Privately-Funded Scholarship available at Arkansas State. Parents and students should be aware that being awarded a scholarship is not guaranteed, but it is an opportunity. The online application is located at www.astate.edu/scholarships and click “Privately Funded Scholarships.”

When a student begins the application process, they create an account that allows them to log back into their application at any time to make changes or updates until the deadline. It allows students to upload their resume, letters of recommendation, and/or personal statement. While they are optional, it is recommended that students upload these documents because they help make your application standout from other students who only complete the online application.

The annual deadline to apply for the A-State Privately-Funded Scholarships is FEBRUARY 1, 2020. Please note that applications submitted by the February 1st deadline are valid for the entire 20-21 award year. Students are notified by mail if they are selected for one of the many scholarships available.
