THE ARKANSAS CHAMBER SINGERS BOARD OF DIRECTORS: is pleased to announce this season’s Vocal/Choral Scholarship Program for $1,000 First Place and $500 Second Place. This scholarship will be awarded to two Arkansas high school seniors who meet the qualifications set by the Board of Directors and be competitive with an audition process. Completed applications must be submitted postmarked no later than January 1, 2021. An audition and interview will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 beginning at 3:00 pm at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock,AR. To download further information and an application, interested high school seniors can go to: www.ar-chambersingers.org It is important that all directions are followed when preparing the application for submission.
MAKE-UP AND RETAKE PICTURES: are scheduled for October 27. Please email Shannon Holeyfield at sholeyfield@searcyschools.org if you need a RETAKE. Retakes may only be taken if there is an obvious defect in the original photograph such as eyes being shut. If you bought a package and you need a retake, please bring the package with you on the scheduled date for pictures.
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:
FBLA: meeting will be held Wednesday, October 7 at 7:30 in room 206 (Akridge)Bring $10 for dues if you have not paid.
NHS:Seniors who have been invited to NHS – ALL National Honor Society dues must be paid by October 20. Dues are $15. If you paid in the Spring, you do not have to pay again. No exceptions. Please see Mrs. Webb to pay your dues.
