HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL TRYOUTS will be December 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) from 3:30-5:00 each day at the baseball field (in the case of rain or inclement weather tryouts will be moved to the indoor facilities on those days). 

Anyone who is interested in trying out needs to sign up with Coach Davis and/or Coach Gardner either during or after 8th period or via school email ASAP.

 

 SPRING CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT:ASU-Beebe will be on campus on November 10 to register our students for spring concurrent  enrollment classes.  ASU-Beebe is in the process of mailing out packets to students who are currently enrolled in concurrent classes this semester.  If students are not enrolled in concurrent classes this semester but plan on enrolling for the spring semester they need to contact the Guidance Center (Julia Roddy) to receive a packet to enroll.

 

BOWLING MEETING:There will be a Bowling meeting in the ISS room at 3:05 on Wednesday…..  If you can not attend see coach Leonard Monday – Wednesday to get the link to join by hangout.

 

   SHS FLU CLINIC:will be held November 12th. Information will be handed out October 26th. Virtual students may pick up packets at the East office.

 

JOSTENS:  Jostens will be on campus in the PAC Lobby on the following days to take Senior orders and Junior ring orders:

Thursday, October 29th from 8am – 4pm 

Friday, October 30th from 8am – 12pm.

Senior Packets, and Junior Ring Packets are available at both offices.

 

MAKE UP PICTURES:On October 27, make up pictures will be taken in the PAC. Senior pictures will be during periods 1-2. Underclassmen will be taken during periods 3-4. Virtual students may come any time during their classification’s time slot.

 

ARKANSAS SCHOOL FOR MATH AND SCIENCES (ASMSA) will be visiting our campus in the Guidance Center, November 10th at 10:30 am. If any 9th and 10th grade students are interested in attending, please email Ms. Cleveland at clevelands@searcyschools.org.

 

 FOOD PANTRY:The SHS Food Pantry is OPEN. The procedures for getting a food bag are different than in previous years. If you are in need of a food bag, inform a teacher and that teacher can help you to get a bag. You can also email Mrs. Edelmann at cedelmann@searcyschools.org to get a bag. 

 

CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS:

 

Fields of Faith: This year’s Fields of Faith will be a virtual event this Wednesday, October 28th at 6:30.  Fields of Faith can be viewed on the FCA Searcy Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube pages.
