Searcy, AR (LP) — Since last season’s soccer team, the soccer boys have won eleven games out of eighteen and their overall win is 61% and with the overall rankings Russellville is the highest scoring team with an overall 16-5-2 and 74%. “Yes I do, you know my parents were educators, My dad was a coach for about 40 years and my mother in her middle thirty, and just kinda followed the end of their footsteps on what they were doing and paid it off and really enjoyed it,” said Coach King, The head of Boys Soccer team. The soccer girls won state last season. They set a new goal for this season. They have decided to push harder to win another state . But for the soccer girls they did and outstanding job for the 2021 state championship with an overall win average 96%. With the two season even putting up a goal. “I love this job. I get to work with some of the best students in the state. I can’t think of a better job – and I taught for 19 years before we ever moved to Searcy in 2003,” said Coach Stamps the head coach for the soccer girls.
“During the off season for soccer we do fundamental work on our skills, getting for games that means touches passes, all that type of stuff shooting just trying to be a better soccer player through fundamentals,” said Coach King. For this season they have decided to push harder and better plus some new players coming in for the season trying to get there goal to win state. “What motivates me the most is that to get better, seeing other people around me, being better and it motivates me to get in there,” says Corbin Green . This is the best Soccer team.
“One player cannot win a soccer game, it’s an old cliche One player does not make a team. I have been blessed to be part of a historic program. I have amazing players who step up to the job all around the field – every year,” says Coach Larry.
Now for this season they are ready to set the kick off in march 2022.
