Searcy, AR. (LP) — When watching your favorite movie, we tend to always hear background music. Sounds that get us going. Most of all in horror films, or in action thrillers. These sounds can infiltrate and manipulate our emotions. Within the breathtaking soundtracks and occasional popular songs we listen to in our free time or at work, we don’t really think about where it all began or how it came to be in order to be blasting in our speakers. Music Production goes a long way within distribution and organizing genres to selling points which are seamlessly growing as time, taste, and more ideas go on. Sound Design takes most of the cake when we go into learning more about the thrilling sound effects in horror films and suspenseful action scenarios within filmmaking and producing tracks. Sound Engineering is more of the quality, texture of the full product, and mastering within film soundtracks and everyday tracks heard for  pleasure and entertainment. Sound engineers can help a full mixdown. If you do it yourself your entire mix can crumble into pieces and you might have to restart. Nowadays, many have strived to dive into simplifying textures, sound design, and sound engineering. In which  plug-ins and tools thankfully, we can create a more fluent broader tone in your creations. Not making any music at all? We typically get lost with these vocabulary unheard of in our normal routine. Plug-ins are the software add-ons used to tweak, or fixcate your ideas into reality inside a Digital Audio Workspace (DAW).

Mr. Gary Crooke, also known as Gareeeeeezy MC/DJ.

Considering many different routes into music production, we take a closer look into the artist side. On the side of hip-hop and more genres he freestyles over and mixes into his own tracks, “I try to teach it all the time, we have to master and mix all the time, and with vocals. If you’re recording your own vocals, get someone else to master them to start with, because nine times out of ten, everyone hates the sound of their own voice,” says Mr. Gary Crooke DJ/MC, also known as Gareeeeeezy has been going at it for a very long time. Music has always been his coping mechanism for absolutely everything. We of course have troubles starting out and learning from this. Mr. Gary Crooke states, “This is for the vocalists, you just need other people to look into mastering and mixing your vocals and afterwards look at what they’ve done, and tweak it to how you want and you finally come up with a nice balance.” When it comes to mixing, Mr. Gary Crooke has done fabulous mixes. He goes on, “I can mix anything, I always loved mixing music since the days of vinyl and belt-drive. Even tapes and videos, we use to mix everything. Get any device and plug it into a mixer.” Working and having fun with what you do is a huge step into anything, music production brings these two factors into play.

Conner Ford, drummer, electronic artist/DJ. Proud owner of LEGACY, his new community band for diverse artists looking to have fun and grow.

Now on the side of Electronic, Authentic, and the ole beat making scene, “Well as some of you may know, I’m still very much in the learning stage of producing music. I’ve been doing this for two years and to be completely honest you will never get out of the learning stage in music. Music is something you’ll be learning more about, especially producing.” Conner Ford DJ/Artist in Electronic Instrumentals, who is known as PULSE has been going on learning many different styles and appreciates all textures of music and has been working his way up to being able to produce more for himself and branching out towards a more sturdy digital audio work space for his producing. Conner Ford continues, “When I started out, nowadays don’t worry about experimenting and finding your own sound early that suits you. It took me a year and a half to find a DAW, whatever you call it to use for my music.” With finding your own sound, it may take a while and most definitely will change over time due to taste and ideas throughout your music interest or hobby.
