Meet the Clarks, a small town family who has a big town sound.  The band formed on accident in 2011, and they have not look back since.

“We play folk music, blue grass, some gospel, and well we kind of consider ourselves Americana,” said Cindy Clark.

Being in a band takes hard work and dedication; therefore, according to the eldest Clark sister, being in a band with her family is no acceptation.

“It’s hard working with your family,” said Sophie Clark. “It can be very frustrating at times but it’s usually pretty good.”

The Clark famiy trio has, received multiple awards and honors throughout the bands  years.

“I guess our big feather in our cap was last year when we auditioned and gained a spot in Jonathan’s Michael wood songs Old Time Radio Hour,” said Cindy Clark. “It recorded in Eureka Springs and that will air on PBS stations at some point this year, it went out all over the world like Europe and the United States.”Screen Shot 2014-05-08 at 2.16.59 PM

Having this band has brought an overwhelming  amount of joy to the Clarks and will continue to make unforgettable memories.

“We have just built some wonderful memories to hold onto as my girls get older, and they won’t alway live in my house. We have just created some really fun memories,” said Cindy Clark.

If your interested in seeing the Clarks, you can catch them at Silver Dollar City at the House of Bar-B-Q on May 27th and 28.
